From Downloaded Reel to Clean Video
Reels you download from Instagram usually carry a small logo and the creator's username in a corner. The AI removes it and rebuilds what was underneath. These frames come from our sample clip, before and after.

How to Remove the Watermark from Your Reel
- 1
Download your Reel
Download the Reel from your own Instagram account. Trim it to 60 seconds or less if it runs longer.
- 2
Upload and preview 5 seconds
Drop the MP4 into the tool above. The AI cleans the first 5 seconds for free so you can judge the quality.
- 3
Clean the full Reel
If the preview looks right, clean the full video at 1 credit per second. We use the file you already uploaded, so there's no second upload.

Removes the Logo and Your Username
A downloaded Reel usually carries a watermark made of the Instagram logo and the creator's @username, placed near a corner where it often sits over your footage. The AI finds both parts in every frame and fills in the background, so you don't have to crop your video or cover the corner with a sticker.

Ready for TikTok, Shorts, and Your Website
Short-form platforms prefer original-looking content, and a competitor's logo in the corner doesn't look like it was made for them. A clean copy of your Reel fits in on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, your online store, or the hero video on your homepage.

Preview First, Pay Only If It Works
Reels have a lot going on, like text overlays, stickers, and quick cuts. A 5-second preview uses just 1 credit, so you see exactly how your video turns out before cleaning the whole thing. The full video uses 1 credit per second, and with a plan or credit pack you can return the credits before downloading if it isn't usable.

Tips for Reposting Your Reels
Get a cleaner result and a better repost with these habits.
Start from the highest-quality copy
If you still have the video in your camera roll or editing app, use that instead. Downloaded Reels are compressed, and starting from a sharper copy gives a sharper result.
Keep music licensing in mind
Songs from Instagram's audio library are licensed for use on Instagram. When you repost elsewhere, swap in audio from that platform's own library.
Mind the 60-second limit
The tool accepts videos up to 60 seconds and 50 MB. For longer Reels, split them into parts or trim them to the section you want to share.
Look at the corners in the preview
The watermark sits in a corner, so that's where to look. Play the 5-second preview full screen and check the edges and any text near the watermark.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need permission to remove the watermark from a Reel?
Yes. Only upload Reels you created or have the creator's permission to edit. The watermark credits the creator, and reposting someone else's video without it can infringe their copyright. To share another creator's Reel, use Instagram's share or remix features, or ask them for permission.
Why does my downloaded Reel have a watermark?
Reels downloaded from Instagram usually include the Instagram logo and the creator's username. That's how Instagram credits the creator when a video travels to other apps. It's helpful for attribution, but if you're reposting your own content elsewhere you may want a clean copy.
How does the 5-second preview work?
Upload your Reel and we can clean just the first 5 seconds for 1 credit, so you can check the result. The preview plays in the browser but can't be downloaded. If you like it, clean the full video without uploading again; the preview credit counts toward the full video, which uses 1 credit per second.
What file types and lengths are supported?
MP4 and MOV files up to 60 seconds and 50 MB. Most Reels downloaded to a phone meet both limits. If yours runs longer, trim it in your phone's editor first. Uploaded videos and results are deleted automatically within 24 hours.
Will the music and audio be kept?
Yes. The AI only edits the video frames under the watermark; the original audio track is kept. Note that licensed songs from Instagram's audio library may not be cleared for use on other platforms, so consider replacing the music when you repost.
Is this tool connected to Instagram?
No. We're independent and aren't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. We never ask for your Instagram login and don't download anything from Instagram; you upload a video file you already saved. For account questions, contact Instagram support.
